Job Title: Graduate Mechanical Engineer I Location: On-site, Runcorn About the opportunity: At Epredia, we are currently seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer I. In this role, you will support the design, prototyping, and development of both medical and non-medical devices and components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute ideas for new products and improvements, and assist in planning design, testing, and risk assessment activities. You will also help deliver projects on time and to quality standards while developing your expertise in R&D best practices. What you will do:
- Support the design, prototyping and development of medical and non-medical devices and components.
- Contribute ideas for new products and improvements based on customer and business needs
- Work with cross-functional teams on technology projects and problem-solving activities.
- Assist with preparing plans for design work, prototyping, testing and risk assessments.
- Help deliver projects on time and to quality while learning R&D best practices.
- An academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field is required.
- Knowledge of or hands-on experience with prototyping is required.
- Basic problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and question results.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Understanding of or interest in quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company processes.
- Awareness of health, safety, sustainability, and data protection responsibilities.
- Strong organisational skills, motivation to learn, and alignment with company values.
