Site Manager - Secondary School - Norwich
The Headteacher of this well-established and highly respected secondary school is seeking to appoint an experienced and dependable Site Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and security of the school site. This is a crucial role within the school, requiring a proactive and professional individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards across the premises and supporting the smooth running of the school.
This position would suit an experienced Site Manager, Premises Manager, or senior Caretaker who is looking for a long-term, stable role within a well-led and supportive school. The successful candidate will be trusted to manage the site independently while working closely with senior leadership and external contractors.

Proven experience managing school or large premises
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance
Responsibility for site security, including opening, locking, and alarm systems

Experience overseeing contractors and planned maintenance works
A proactive, organised, and reliable approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
The successful Site Manager will take ownership of the site, ensuring that buildings, grounds, and facilities are safe, clean, and well maintained at all times. They will play a key role in safeguarding, risk assessments, and ensuring the school remains fully compliant with health and safety requirements.
