Project Manager - Subsea Connectors

Job title – Project Manager (Subsea connectors)
Location – Barrow–in–Furness, Cumbria
Duration – 6 months initial contract with possibility to extend depending on performance
Rate – 35–38 per hour (PAYE contract)

Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager, ideally from a Subsea background, to support their operations in Barrow in Furness.

This would be a hybrid role, with 3 days minimum onsite, and 2 days from home. But, for initial period employee needs to connect with direct manager to clarify when he can work remotely.

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours a week, 7.5 per day. 8.30 – 5pm with 1 hour lunch. Or, 9–5pm with 30 mins lunch
• No overtime is applicable or available for this role

The Project Manager is responsible for delivering a high standard of engineering and service support to project teams.

• Execute safe, accurate, on–time delivery of project deliverables for internal and external customers
• Mentor others as required
• Participate in job risk analysis and continuous improvement programs
• Assist with preparation of the final project close–out report
• Assist in the development of overall project service plans and associated procedures for projects, ensure compliance with company and customer requirements
