Interim Management Accountant

We are currently recruiting for an Interim Management Accountant to join a growing and fast–moving business based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to step into a pivotal role during an exciting period of transition and growth.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely monthly management accounts, supporting financial planning activities and partnering closely with operational stakeholders to provide meaningful financial analysis and performance insight.

Key responsibilities will include producing monthly management reporting, assisting with budgeting and forecasting cycles, analysing financial performance and delivering clear commentary to support business decision making.

This position would suit a proactive and adaptable accountant who is confident working within a changing environment and able to quickly establish themselves within a new team.

To be considered, you will ideally:

• Be fully or part–qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Have proven management accounting experience within a fast–paced or multi–site environment
• Possess strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability
• Be highly organised, self–motivated, and able to work effectively to tight deadlines
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
