A well-established independent day school in Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Geography to join its successful Humanities faculty from January 2026 .

The Opportunity

This is a full-time role teaching Geography across KS3–KS5 , within a department known for strong academic outcomes and high levels of student engagement. Geography is a popular subject at both GCSE and A-Level, with pupils demonstrating genuine curiosity about global issues, environmental change and human geography.

Small class sizes allow for discussion-led lessons, individual feedback and academic stretch. The curriculum balances physical and human geography, fieldwork skills and contemporary case studies, with opportunities to contribute to the ongoing development of schemes of work.
