ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College School Soto de Viñuelas is seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teacher to join our Early Years team on a maternity cover contract from January 2027. The successful candidate will create a stimulating, child-centred learning environment that promotes curiosity, creativity and independence, ensuring that every child is supported to achieve their full potential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons and learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework and school curriculum.

• Create a safe, caring and stimulating classroom environment that supports all areas of child development.Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, using assessment data to inform future learning.

• Differentiate learning to meet the individual needs of all pupils and support inclusive educational practices.

• Foster positive relationships with parents through regular communication regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.

• Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants and leaders to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
