We're offering a brilliant opportunity for a General Handy Person to join our on?site facilities team, playing a vital part in creating a safe, compliant and well?maintained environment.
The Role
As a General Handy Person, you'll support the day?to?day running of the facilities by:
- Working with a multi?skilled team to carry out a variety of general maintenance tasks
- Assisting tradespeople and supporting wider FM activities on site
- Ensuring work is completed safely, professionally and in line with standards
- Supporting the team manager with FM duties as needed
- Maintaining high levels of health and safety across all work areas
- Contributing to local and business-wide zero carbon initiatives , helping drive sustainability across the contract
This is a varied, hands?on role ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and has a flexible, proactive approach.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who is motivated, adaptable and confident in their practical abilities:
- Experience in general maintenance or DIY
- CITB-relevant certification (or equivalent) preferred
- Willingness to develop new skills and learn on the job
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong understanding of safe working practices
