CRA Consulting are delighted to be working with a highly regarded and well-established law firm based in the heart of Leeds. With a strong reputation for providing high-quality legal advice and exceptional client service, the firm has developed a thriving residential conveyancing practice and is now looking to strengthen the team with the appointment of an experienced Residential Conveyancer / Licensed Conveyancer.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancer looking to join a supportive and forward-thinking team where you will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload, build strong client relationships and play a key role in delivering a high-quality residential conveyancing service.

The Role:
You will be responsible for managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, providing a proactive and client-focused service throughout.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Dealing with remortgages, transfers of equity and other residential property matters.
• Reviewing contracts, leases, title documents and searches.
• Raising and responding to enquiries.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
• Ensuring transactions progress efficiently and within required timescales.
• Providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
• Maintaining accurate case management and ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and regulations.
• Identifying opportunities to develop client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the department.

About You:
The successful candidate will ideally be an experienced Residential Conveyancer, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive or Solicitor with a strong background in residential property.
You will ideally have:

• Proven experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload.
• Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process.
• Experience dealing with both freehold and leasehold matters.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A confident and professional approach to client care.
• The ability to work independently whilst also contributing positively to a wider team.
