Our client, a forward-thinking educational institution in the heart of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, is seeking a talented and dedicated Part-time SEN Tutor to join their dynamic team. As a Part-time SEN Tutor , you will play a crucial role in delivering personalised, engaging, and inclusive educational support to students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of effective teaching strategies for students with diverse learning needs, as well as a genuine passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. You will collaborate closely with the client's dedicated team of educational professionals to develop and implement individualised learning plans, ensuring each student's unique needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group tutoring sessions to students with special educational needs

- Monitor and evaluate student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed to ensure continuous improvement
- Maintain detailed records and documentation to track student development and communicate with parents/guardians
- Actively participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN education
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant teaching or tutoring experience, with a strong background in supporting students with special educational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Demonstrated creativity and flexibility in designing and delivering engaging and effective learning experiences
- Thorough understanding of the latest teaching methodologies and strategies for working with students with diverse learning needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Relevant teaching qualification or equivalent
