Technical Business Analyst - Telecommunications

Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyse, and document detailed business and system requirements across OSS/BSS domains
- Work closely with engineering, product, and third-party vendors to translate requirements into user stories and technical specifications
- Map and re-engineer business processes (BPM/BPR), identifying opportunities for optimisation and automation
- Support end-to-end delivery across change initiatives, including testing, validation, and stakeholder sign-off
- Analyse data flows, system integrations, and API interactions across multiple platforms
- Produce high-quality functional and technical documentation
- Collaborate with project managers and PMO to support structured delivery
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst (3–5+ years)
- Strong background working within OSS/BSS environments (telecoms / ISP preferred)
- Demonstrable experience working on project delivery, not just BAU support
- Expertise in process mapping, requirements gathering, and documentation
- Experience working with integrations, APIs, and data flows
- Exposure to CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and integration tooling (e.g., MuleSoft or similar)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Desirable Skills:
- Understanding of UK telecoms regulatory frameworks (Ofcom)
- Experience supporting digital transformation or cloud migration programmes
- SQL or data analysis capabilities
- Knowledge of GDPR and data governance
Contract Details:
- 6-month contract
- Outside IR35
