Trainer Solicitor

We are a high street law practice in Watford. Nearly all our work is from established clients or recommendations.

The recognised training will include Residential & Commercial Property and Wills & Probate.

The Trainee will be given responsibility with full supervision, from the outset.

The firm prides itself in the quality of client care it provides and realises the importance of integrating client care early on in the training package. This will enable the trainee to quickly grow in confidence and gain skills when handling clients.

As a precursor to the offer of a Training Contract, the successful prospective candidate will be required to take a short term Legal Assistant/Paralegal paid position (six months) providing support to the conveyancing and private client departments. This will establish the suitability of a good working relationship.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who possesses initiative, strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills and an appetite for success.

• A minimum 2:1 in your Bachelor’s degree.

• Should have completed and passed LPC exams.

• Previous Legal property work experience preferred- as a legal assistant, secretary or paralegal in a law firm.

• Commercial awareness.

• A genuine interest in Conveyancing and Private Client.
