We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Female PE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Halifax. This is a fantastic opportunity to encourage students to develop healthy lifestyles, build resilience and enjoy being active in a supportive school community.

Whether you're an experienced PE teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

• Deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Teach a broad range of sports and physical activities, promoting participation and achievement.
• Create an inclusive environment where every student feels confident to take part.
• Assess, monitor and support pupil progress.
• Contribute to extracurricular clubs, fixtures and school sporting events where appropriate.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and student wellbeing.

We're looking for someone who has

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching PE within UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
• A positive, energetic and inclusive approach to teaching.
• A genuine passion for helping young people develop confidence through physical education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
