PA/Personal Care Assistant

Job description

We are looking for caring, reliable, and supportive Personal Assistants / Carers in the Coleraine area. This role is essential in helping an individual remain comfortable, safe, and independent in their own home. Because some tasks require a double-up, we are looking to recruit two female staff to cover these hours. We welcome applications from individuals, as well as pairs who already work well together.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with washing, dressing, and toileting.
• Helping prepare and present nutritious food.
• Carrying out light household duties to keep the living space tidy and comfortable.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Consistent and dependable approach.
• Able to demonstrate a warm, supportive nature that respects the dignity of the person you are caring for.
• Ability to cover calls spread across the day.

Desirable Skills

• Car driver with access to a vehicle - Preferred but not essential.
