Are you passionate about using data to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people?

We are looking for an analytical individual to join our Education & Inclusion team as an Education Data, Insight & Performance Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape evidence-based decision making across education services through the development of high-quality data, analysis and performance reporting.

Working across Education & Inclusion and corporate data teams, you will analyse a wide range of education data, develop dashboards and reports, and turn complex information into meaningful insight that supports both operational and strategic decision making.

Your work will help identify trends, risks and opportunities across key areas including attendance, inclusion, additional learning needs, vulnerable learners and school performance, helping to improve outcomes for children and young people across Rhondda Cynon Taf.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, experience of working with complex datasets, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to different audiences. Experience of producing reports and dashboards is essential, with knowledge of Microsoft Power BI an advantage.
