Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you’ll bring a proactive approach to running a welcoming, vibrant Café. You'll lead your team to deliver outstanding service, keep stock availability high, and make sure every customer leaves happy.
In this role, you’ll be on hand to:
- Put customers first: Empower your team to deliver friendly, attentive service, listening to customer feedback to make sure our Café is always a warm, welcoming place to pop by.
- Lead and support your team: Manage shift rotas, attendance, and talent development, delivering training so colleagues have the confidence to succeed and grow.
- Drive performance and standards: Lead an encouraging, performance-driven department, guiding colleagues to work with purpose against all operational and sales targets.
- Keep operations running smoothly: Plan resources thoroughly, manage daily team routines, and build strong working relationships with other store departments.

- Leads with confidence : Has experience leading and supporting a team in a fast-paced food or hospitality environment, confidently running shifts and handling daily priorities.

- Listens and adapts : Active listener who acts on customer and colleague feedback to make things better every shift, staying open and flexible to new ways of working.
- Keeps a firm grip on the basics : Takes a practical approach to managing department routines, keeping a close eye on food safety, waste, and stock availability.
- Steps up: Is confident to step up as Manager in Charge when needed in the store.
