Science Technician - Reading
A prestigious independent school in Reading is seeking a dedicated Science Technician to join their outstanding Science Faculty from January 2026 .

You will support Biology, Chemistry, and Physics practical lessons by preparing, maintaining, and safely storing laboratory equipment and resources. You will assist in demonstrations, ensure compliance with COSHH regulations, and contribute to the smooth running of the Science department.
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Science Technician in a school or laboratory setting desirable
- Strong understanding of health and safety, COSHH, and safe handling of chemicals
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Science-related qualification (BTEC/NVQ/A-Level) preferred
