Employment Lawyer

£31.4 - £36 per hourEstimated
We are seeking an experienced Senior Employment Lawyer to provide high-quality legal advice and support within a public sector environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified legal professional to work on complex employment law matters while contributing to the objectives of a leading public body.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide reliable legal judgement and balanced advice, with a clear appreciation of legal risk. • Deliver practical and strategic legal guidance on a range of employment law matters. • Analyse complex issues and produce timely, accurate and fit-for-purpose legal advice based on thorough legal research. • Consider legal issues within their broader organisational and policy context. • Support stakeholders by offering clear, solution-focused recommendations. • Demonstrate an understanding of the role of lawyers within a governmental organisation and the implications of operating within a non-departmental public body.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive. • Current practising certificate from the relevant regulatory body. • Strong employment law expertise gained within public or private sector organisations. • Excellent analytical, communication and drafting skills. • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver advice within required timescales. • Experience assessing legal risk and providing commercially and strategically focused solutions.
