Leader Group is proud to be partnering with a renowned Therapeutic Education Service provider to recruit a passionate English Teacher. We currently have an outstanding opportunity available within a new SEN School opening soon in Bolton.
About the Role:
To specialise in leading and delivering English up to GCSE to KS3 and KS4 aged pupils with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) and additional needs.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher that has experience teaching pupils with ASC and additional behavioural needs to join a specialist team within a new school opening in September 2026. As part of a nurturing and innovative team, your responsibilities will include:
* Teaching and supporting students with a range of special educational needs (SEN).
* Teach pupils aged KS3 and KS4.
* Delivering engaging and tailored English lessons to individual learning needs.
* Setting, marking and providing constructive feedback on assignments, homework, and assessments.
* Supporting pupils in gaining a strong command of spoken and written English, enabling them to communicate confidently and effectively. Ideal Candidate: We are seeking someone who is: * Passionate about working with students with SEND needs.
* Specialism in teaching English is essential.
* Experienced - ideally with at least 2 years in a SEND environment or similar setting supporting pupils with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) and additional needs. Including mainstream schools.
* Qualified - QTS is essential.
* Understands EHCPs and autism-informed practice.
* Calm, organised and passionate about teaching and making a difference.
