This chambers rated team handles deputyships and trusts works relating to medical and financial matters.


This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of Property and Financial Affairs Deputyship and Personal Injury Trust matters while developing your own caseload.


Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the management of Property and Financial Affairs Deputyship matters.
• Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision.
• Preparing Court of Protection applications and annual Deputy Reports.
• Supporting the day-to-day management of clients' financial affairs, including budgeting, payments and property transactions.
• Assisting with the administration of Personal Injury Trusts.
• Liaising with clients, families, case managers, healthcare professionals and other professionals.
• Working closely with the department's paralegals and internal and external litigators.
• Attending client meetings and visits where appropriate.
• Developing knowledge of statutory wills, care funding and benefits.

You could be at any level of PQE to join this team, ideally you'll have some Court Of Protection experience however the firm will also re-train and hep people moving across from private Client, Private Wealth, Litigation or Family but you must have a genuine interest for this area of law.
