Job description

Climate Minds NI is an innovative partnership between Live Here Love Here and Inspire Wellbeing, exploring the connection between climate action, mental wellbeing and community resilience. Funded by The National Lottery Community Fund's Climate Action Fund, the project will establish 16 Climate Action Groups across Northern Ireland, empowering underrepresented communities to co-design local climate solutions, strengthen wellbeing and take positive environmental action.

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate the day-to-day delivery of the Climate Minds NI project, ensuring activities are delivered on time, and in line with agreed objectives and outcomes
  • Co-ordinate project workplans, timelines, risk registers and documentation to support the successful delivery of Connecting Climate Minds.
  • Lead the co-ordination of monitoring, evaluation and learning activities, including data collection, reporting, case studies and impact measurement.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, presentations and updates to support project governance, partnership working and stakeholder engagement.
  • Respond to enquiries and provide excellent support through face-to-face interactions, telephone, email and other written communications

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • A full current driving licence and access to a car. Business insurance will be a requirement of the post. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable as the role may involve working in various locations.
  • Possess a third level qualification (or equivalent) in a related or similar discipline.
  • At least 2 years’ experience of project management.
  • Proven track record in delivering successful co-produced and co-delivered public facing campaigns and ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a small team.
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders in the community, voluntary and private sector.
  • Experience working with a range of individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Knowledge of climate change and climate justice in Northern Ireland, with an understanding of how this intersects with wider social, economic, and health inequalities.
