Salary:   Up to £50,830 per year , depending on experience. 
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you an experienced  HGV Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Technician looking for a great opportunity with a well-established and growing business?

We’re looking for a  skilled, reliable and motivated technician to join our maintenance team in Evesham.

You’ll play a vital role in keeping our HGV fleet and trailers  safe, roadworthy, compliant and operating at its best .

What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair  mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults .
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure they meet all legal and DVSA requirements.
• Complete inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out emergency repairs when required.
• Keep accurate service, inspection and repair records.
• Work safely and professionally in line with company procedures.
• Work closely with drivers, transport managers and the wider workshop team.

‍ What We're Looking For

You’ll ideally have:

• Proven experience as an  HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician or Heavy Vehicle Technician .
• A relevant  Level 2/3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Good knowledge of  DVSA standards and vehicle compliance .
• The ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
• A full UK driving licence.  HGV licence desirable but not essential.
• Good communication, organisation and attention to detail.

⭐ Even Better If You Have

• Experience working across a range of commercial vehicle manufacturers.
• HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence.
• IRTEC accreditation.
• Experience using electronic diagnostic equipment.
