Trainee Machine Inspector, Ilkeston

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Machine Inspector to join a busy engineering team in Ilkeston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within quality inspection and engineering, with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect manufactured parts using a range of basic measuring equipment.
- Assist with CNC and CMM inspection processes.
- Accurately record inspection results using computer systems.
- Work from engineering drawings and measurement specifications.
- Carry out incoming and outgoing goods inspections.
- Identify and report defects or quality concerns to the Quality Team.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe inspection area.
Skills & Experience
- Previous inspection or manufacturing experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
- Full training will be provided.
- Good mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to follow instructions and work accurately.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
