An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Dispute Resolution Paralegal to join one of the region's highest-ranked litigation teams at a leading law firm in North Yorkshire.


Based in beautiful modern offices just a short walk from the train station, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a highly regarded and supportive team. The role is office-based initially, with the opportunity to move to a hybrid working arrangement once you are fully settled into the position.


Working alongside an experienced team of lawyers, you will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support across a broad range of contentious matters, including:

• Commercial disputes
• Employment disputes
• Property litigation
• Debt litigation
• Contentious probate
• Professional negligence

This varied role will provide exposure to high-quality work and the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge across multiple areas of litigation.


Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the management of litigation files from inception to conclusion
• Drafting legal documents and correspondence
• Preparing court bundles and trial documentation
• Conducting legal research
• Liaising with clients, counsel, courts and third parties
• Managing diaries and key deadlines
• Supporting solicitors with all aspects of case progression
• General file management and administrative support

To be considered, you will have:

• A minimum of 6 months' experience working as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal within a litigation team (essential)
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
• A proactive and professional approach
• A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in dispute resolution

• Salary of £25,000 - £27,000, depending on experience
