Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) - Store deliveries and cage work in predominantly double deck trailers
Location: Burton on Trent
Pay Rate: £24.94 to £31.66 p/h (static clock)
Shifts: Guaranteed 8 hours pay per shift - Sunday to Thursday (Days + Nights)
Driver Type: Class 1 (C+E)
Experience: 2 years Class 1 experience required

Ignition Driver Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to work with our client in Burton-on-Trent .

Initial routes will be completed with established drivers, to help you understand the finer details of the role.

The Role
As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:

• Deliveries are primarily caged deliveries to Hobbycraft stores
  • There may be the occasional pallet, but the vast majority of the work is cage-based
• Drivers are responsible for:
  • Delivering cages into the store
  • Returning salvage
  • Managing the delivery paperwork/process correctly
  • Both day and night drivers will physically handle the cage deliveries
  • Night Deliveries – Airlock Process

What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you'll need:

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• At least 2 years' commercial Class 1 driving experience
• A valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC)
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service

Our client may accept up to 6 penalty points.
