Role: Reception Team Leader
Salary: £26,500 - £29,000 per annum
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Key Responsibilities of the Reception Team Leader:
- To oversee the daily operational activities of the reception desks, including travelling between the three legal offices
- Ensure that agreed service levels are maintained and exceeded where possible
- Produce, manage and operate the reception rota, including lunch rotas, sickness and future planned absences, planning cover and playing a flexible role to cover team absences when required
- Deliver training to new receptionists ensuring they are given the skills needed to successfully carry out their role
- Travel to each office to complete the monthly office checks
- To work closely with and the Office Manager and undertake any delegated tasks
- To support the Office Manager with appraisals and performance management of staff, including quarterly meetings with the reception team
About you:
- Someone proactive who can lead, motivate and inspire the team to provide a professional client experience
- Someone who can take initiative to create more efficient processes and implement new best practices
- Someone who can provide guidance and support to the existing receptionist teams
- Experience of working as a receptionist or front of house role
- Experience of motivating and developing a team
- Someone with a minimum of one year’s reception experience
