Transport Planner

Pertemps Lincoln is currently recruiting for a Transport Planner to join our client's busy distribution warehouse in Lincoln.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business in a key role supporting the day-to-day transport operation. Working as part of a busy transport and operations team, you'll help ensure deliveries run smoothly by coordinating drivers, vehicles and customer communications.

This a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

What hours will I be working?

Monday to Friday – 08:30 – 4:30pm

How much will I be paid?

You will be paid £15 p/h

What will my role be as a Transport Planner?

• Allocate drivers and vehicles for daily deliveries.
• Monitor deliveries and respond to any issues.
• Communicate with drivers and customers.
• Update schedules and routes when required.
• Maintain accurate transport records and reports.

What skills and experience do I need?

• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Confident using computers and Microsoft Office.
• Able to work well under pressure.
• Previous transport, logistics or customer service experience is essential.
