I'm currently working with a leading Tier 1 contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, delivering a portfolio of major highways and infrastructure projects across a long term framework in West Yorkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of secured work, delivering a diverse range of projects including highways, structures and wider infrastructure schemes. The role offers long term career stability, exposure to nationally significant projects and excellent opportunities for progression.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from inception through to completion. Working closely with operational teams, you will oversee subcontractor procurement and management, cost reporting, forecasting, valuations, contract administration, risk management and the overall commercial performance of your projects.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within highways, civil engineering or major infrastructure.
- Strong working knowledge of NEC forms of contract.
- Experience working on framework contracts.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractor accounts, cost reporting and commercial forecasting.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing commercial team.
