We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious, and committed RE Teacher to join the successful Humanities or RE faculty at a high-achieving secondary school/academy in Crawley, Surrey .

This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position starting in January 2026 (or sooner).

We Are Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) .
• A proven track record as an excellent RE Teacher , with essential experience teaching the subject to Key Stage 5 (A-Level or equivalent) .
• Strong subject knowledge across theology, philosophy, and ethics.
• A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire high levels of engagement and critical thinking.
• The experience or ambition to take on a key area of responsibility within the department.

Salary and Benefits

• Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for England (Excluding London) (currently £32,916 - £51,048 for 2025/2026).
• A Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) payment , which in a role of this responsibility typically ranges from £3,527 to £8,611 (likely a TLR 2 dependent on scale). The specific amount will be confirmed based on the final responsibility offered.
