Are you an engaging, confident trainer with a passion for road safety and helping people change behavior? We are seeking a Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) Trainer to join our Nottinghamshire Safety Camera Partnership at Nottinghamshire Police.

What you'll do

• Deliver high-quality Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) courses to individuals and groups using a variety of learning methods.
• Support the design and delivery of learning and development activities that meet national standards.
• Assess and evaluate learning outcomes, providing feedback and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records and submit information to local and national systems in line with data protection requirements.
• Work collaboratively with course leaders and colleagues to improve customer experience and learning outcomes.
• Conduct risk assessments and support safe learning environments during course delivery.
• Deliver learning activities both in person and virtually across the county.

What We’re Looking For

• Knowledge of road safety legislation and the Highway Code.
• Experience in delivering learning, training or development activities to individuals and groups, or a willingness to develop these skills.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills.
• Ability to engage with different audiences and adapt learning approaches to individual needs.
• A customer-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Ability to assess learning outcomes and respond positively to feedback.
• Level 3 Teaching or Learning & Development qualification (or equivalent experience), or willingness to obtain relevant accreditation.
