We are looking for a Relationship Manager to own and develop a growing portfolio of local clients, building relationships and offering superior service, and work with product specialists to provide clients with deposit, lendingand investment products.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Developing business opportunities with existing and new clients by growing strong client and introducer relationships.
* Servicing existing clients and acting as their main point of contact.
* Understanding the bank's financial targets and awareness of the commerciality of your client portfolio.
* Effective on-boarding of clients, with understanding and presenting of the clients' risk.
* Providing assistance to other team members during busy times.
* Client periodic risk reviews to assess ongoing risks to the bank and to oversee that any KYC/AML shortfalls are remedied.
* Ensuring that all relevant and current rules, regulations and Bank policies are adhered to in respect of your clients- including understanding of transaction monitoring, processing customer requests and client on-boarding processes and procedures.
Your qualifications and skills include:
* A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a front office client relationship role or equivalent.
* Target oriented, with a record of meeting set objectives.
* Willingness to undertake sales management, and in particular in the design and delivery of effective calling programmes and cross-selling initiatives.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* A high degree of risk awareness and compliance orientation.
* A pro-active approach to suggest new ideas/innovation/process change to deliver for client requirements.
* Ability to think outside the box and enthusiasm for change and unexpected.
