The Interim S&OP Consultant will take ownership of reviewing the current planning environment before designing and implementing a fit-for-purpose Demand Planning and S&OP process.Responsibilities will include:
- Assessing the existing Demand Planning, forecasting and S&OP processes.
- Designing and implementing a structured S&OP framework from the ground up.
- Taking ownership of the demand planning process and improving forecast accuracy and visibility.
- Partnering closely with Sales to develop more robust customer and demand forecasts.
- Acting as the key link between Sales and Operations, ensuring demand information is effectively communicated and translated into operational plans.
- Developing effective S&OP reporting, dashboards and KPIs.
- Reviewing how customer demand, product mix, seasonality and manufacturing capacity are incorporated into planning.
- Improving visibility around longer-term demand and potential supply constraints.
- Reviewing current systems and recommending additional planning tools or software where appropriate.
- Establishing clear processes, governance and ways of working that can be owned by the existing team following completion of the project.
- Supporting the business in transitioning from a reactive planning environment to a more structured and proactive approach.
