Receive and sort all foul linen from wards and departments. Wash all linen in appropriate machines as per instructions for each specific type. Dry all washed linen in appropriate machine. Press fold and pack all linen using appropriate equipment. Operate as part of a team when directed Team leader/Supervisor. Keep floors and equipment clean at all times, regularly sweeping floors andremoving lint from machines. Reporting of faults in equipment to the Team leader/Supervisor. Ensure that personal conduct and hygiene are of the highest standard whilst on thehospital premises. Notify supervisor or other relevant staff of faulty equipment, building/equipmentrepairs, maintenance requirements, and requests for personal protectiveequipment/light equipment. Prepare and deliver stock to wards, as per stock sheets on a top up basis andrecord what has been issued.
