Support Worker - Children & Young Adults
Location: Basingstoke, Farnborough, Fleet
You must hold a permanent, unrestricted Right to Work in the UK
Excellent Pay Rates: £13.70ph to £16.60 plus travel time paid seperately at £13.50 ph and mileage at 30p per mile
HOURS: Monday - Friday 7am - 10pm

As a Support Worker , your key responsibilities will include:
Person-Centred Support
- Actively involve younger individuals in planning and reviewing their support needs and goals, ensuring their support plan reflects their preferences.
- Empower each younger person to make choices and maintain as much independence as possible, supporting decision-making in all areas of life.
Daily Living and Personal Care
- Assist with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mealtime support, with respect for each person’s comfort and dignity.
- Support individuals with shopping for personal items, clothing, groceries, and assist with meal planning and preparation.
Health and Well-Being
- Assist with medication management and administration when required, maintaining accurate records as needed.
- Encourage and support healthy eating, hydration, and meal preparation according to each individual’s dietary preferences.
Community and Social Engagement
- Facilitate involvement in social, recreational, educational, and employment opportunities based on the individual’s interests.
- Support with travel arrangements and accompany individuals on outings, holidays, and community activities as required.

Requirements
- *A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle *
- You must hold a permanent, unrestricted Right to Work in the UK
- A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care
- Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- Ability to follow care plans
- Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided
