Order Processor - Full Time  |  Ballymoney  

 

Key Details: 

• Location: Ballymoney
• Salary: £38,000 per annum.
• Permanent, full-time position.
• Monday – Thursday 7.00am - 4.30pm and Friday 7.00am - 12.30pm 

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Ballymoney. The successful candidate will manage the complete order process from customer order entry through to production scheduling and delivery planning, ensuring orders are processed accurately and customers receive an excellent level of service. Key Responsibilities: 
•Accurately process customer orders using Business Micros and the company's ERP/MRP system.
•Check product specifications including dimensions, colours, foils, hardware, glazing, thresholds, opening directions and any special requirements.
•Have a knowledge of glass specifications and make up
•Confirm manufacturability, including size limits, profile compatibility from site.
•Create and verify Bills of Materials (BOMs).
•Issue order acknowledgements and manage amendments before production.
•Identify and escalate non-standard or technically complex orders.
•Ensure compliance with customer specifications, including safety glazing, PAS 24, and energy performance requirements where applicable.
•Monitor material availability and amend schedules where required.
•Release orders to production in line with agreed deadlines.
•Communicate effectively with production, purchasing, sales and quality departments.
•Maintain accurate order records and system updates.

Criteria: 
•Previous experience in an Order Processing role within a manufacturing environment.
•Experience using Business Micros or similar processing software is essential.
•Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
•Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
•Strong organisational and communication skills.
•Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
•A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
