HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Willenhall, West Midlands.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.
This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver.
Shifts : Monday to Friday - 07:00 AM Start
Rates of Pay : From £19.00 to £21.23 per hour (after 12 weeks)

Day-to-Day Duties
- Carrying out RDC deliveries - Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations - Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections - Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly - Adhering to traffic laws and regulations - Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers - Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management - Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required
Essential Skills
- Valid UK Category CE Licence - Minimum of 2 years experience driving CE vehicles - No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes - Valid UK CPC Card and Digi Card - Good spoken and written English - Punctuality and excellent timekeeping skills - Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations - Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Previous commercial driving experience
Training Provided
- Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
