Are You Ready to Train as a Health Visitor? HCRG Care Group is excited to offer funded SCPHN (Specialist Community Public Health Nursing) training posts for the course starting in January 2027. We are looking for dedicated, reflective, and dynamic Nurses or Midwives who are passionate about making a real difference to children, families, and communities across Surrey. This year we have 6 Health Visitor SCPHN student posts available across Surrey. The course is delivered exclusively through Oxford Brookes University and leads to a Master's level qualification. The SCPHN programme at Oxford Brookes University is a Master's level course (PG Dip / MSc) and is available on both a full-time and part-time basis. The course combines online distance learning with supervised practice placements:

About the Course
The SCPHN programme at Oxford Brookes University is a Master's level course (PG Dip / MSc) and is available on both a full-time and part-time basis. The course combines online distance learning with supervised practice placements:
- Online distance learning - 2 days per week (theoretical and academic component)
- Practice placement - 3 days per week (clinical learning and hands-on experience)
- The 50/50 split of theory and practice ensures you develop both academic and clinical skills
- Upon completion you will be registered as a SCPHN and eligible to apply for Band 6 Health Visitor role
