Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students, tailoring your approach to their individual needs and learning styles
• Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, contributing ideas and resources to enhance the learning experience
• Monitor and support students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required
• Facilitate engaging and educational activities, such as games, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices and new initiatives
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures
• Contribute to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Proficient in the use of technology, including educational software and digital tools
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to think on your feet and respond to the changing needs of the classroom
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to continually learn and grow
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable
• Relevant qualifications, such as a Teaching Assistant certificate or degree in education, are preferred but not essential
