Consultant Vascular Surgeon

Job summary
This is an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Vascular Surgeon to develop or expand their private practice within a well-established and respected healthcare provider.

You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with venous disease using minimally invasive, ultrasound-guided procedures. Working alongside highly skilled Registered Nurses and Clinic Teams, in modern purpose-built locations, you will provide expert care throughout the patient journey.

Main duties of the job

• Conduct patient consultations including carrying out duplex ultrasound scanning
• Interpret findings and formulate treatment plans
• Perform vein treatments using Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA) Foam and Micro Sclerotherapy
• Deliver excellent clinical outcomes and patient experience
• Maintain accurate and clinical records using EMR
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and best practice initiatives

Job responsibilities
At VeinCentre, our clinicians are supported by an established infrastructure that enables them to focus entirely on delivering excellent patient care. We manage the marketing and patient acquisition, provide a consistent and strong flow of patients, handle all appointment scheduling and administration, and deliver comprehensive patient communications and aftercare support.

The opportunity offers flexibility and can be tailored around existing NHS and private practice commitments.

Qualifications
Essential

• Applicants should possess:
• GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Substantial experience in performing endovenous venous procedures
• Strong ultrasound-guided procedural skills
• Excellent communication and patient-centred consultation skills
• A commitment to delivering outstanding clinical care
