The successful candidate will provide day-to-day instructional leadership across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The timetable involves preparing students for exceptional outcomes in solo and ensemble performance, advanced composition, and listening analysis for GCSE and A-Level exams. Beyond classroom lessons, you will manage instrumental tutor schedules, update student target databases, and coordinate a busy extra-curricular calendar featuring choirs, orchestras, and live school productions.

You will act as an encouraging, professional guide for students of all abilities. Excellent administrative skills are necessary to manage coursework portfolios, coordinate external instrumental exams, and build strong links with parents.

Requirements

• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with a degree in Music or a related discipline

• Proven experience delivering Music specifications up to GCSE and A-Level tracks

• Excellent practical musicianship, with the ability to accompany, conduct, or direct school ensembles

• Complete comfort using digital score editors and audio production software (DAWs)

• Outstanding time-management and organizational skills
