This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to join an inspiring and motivated NHS and social care integrated team under the supervision of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. Main duties of the job
The team works systemically with children and young people, their families and wider support networks to assess and formulate what the systemic needs of the child, young person and wider family system are. We then work in collaboration with existing teams and resources, such as the Strengthening Families Team (SFT). As a service we use a whole family, strengths-based approach. We have a small residential facility to provide voluntary inpatient support, if needed, and/or provide support in the community. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. About us

- Good Honours Degree in Psychology
- Eligibility for Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
- Some knowledge and understanding of the client group with whom the post holder will be working.
- Undergraduate level knowledge of psychology including some knowledge of lifespan developmental psychology and models of psychopathology.
