The Team The Employment, Pensions and Immigration team is a market leader, consistently ranked in Chambers and Legal 500 Top Tier for employment law. The national team operates across multiple offices, acting for a wide range of clients, including private and public organisations, and sectors such as local government, healthcare, higher education, and commercial businesses. The Birmingham team is supportive, collaborative, and growing, offering a flexible hybrid working model. As part of this dynamic practice, you will work alongside senior colleagues on complex employment matters, including high-profile litigation, advisory work, and TUPE/transactional projects. The Role - As an Employment Associate, you will:
- Advise clients on a broad range of employment issues, across various sectors.
- Manage complex employment litigation and tribunal cases as part of a supportive team.
- Provide guidance on TUPE, restructures, redundancy, employee relations, and contractual matters.
- Draft legal documents, settlement agreements, and provide clear, commercial advice to clients.
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams across the firm to deliver joined-up advice.
- Support and supervise junior colleagues, contributing to their development.
- Contribute to business development and client relationship management initiatives.
