Business Development Manager

My West Midlands based client, an expanding outsourced business solutions company that help companies improve efficiency, reduce costs and access specialist expertise without building large in-house teams. Services include Finance, Analytics and Back Office Support, with further services planned. They are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to build a sales pipeline, win new clients across the UK and develop opportunities within the USA market. Responsible for new business generation from prospecting through to client engagement. Key Responsibilities:-
- Identify and target businesses with outsourcing opportunities
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across UK and USA markets
- Generate new business through calls, LinkedIn, email, networking and referrals
- Develop relationships with business owners and senior decision-makers
- Understand client requirements and identify suitable solutions
- Develop proposals and manage opportunities through to close
- Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline reporting
- Support sales strategy, target markets and proposition development
- Attend client meetings, events and business development activities
- Proven B2B new business sales experience
- Able to generate leads and build pipelines
- Experience selling services, ideally outsourced or recurring services
- Confident with senior stakeholders
- Strong consultative selling and commercial skills
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Excited by helping to grow a new service offering
