Business Analyst
£38k - £46.5k per annumMain Purpose of the Job
The Business Analyst is the main source of financial support for the Institutes' Group Leaders. In addition, they will prepare and interpret the regular financial information which is presented to the various boards and committees of the Institute.Financial Support for Project Leaders• Build personal relationships with Group Leaders
• Assist Group Leaders to manage their financial resources by proactively forecasting future income and costs, highlighting where decisions may be necessary.Financial Reporting
• Preparation of monthly management accounts for the Institutes with detailed and accurate financial information and interpretation.
• Preparation of Statutory Accounts
• Support the accounting and reporting of NBI Partnership
Budgetary control
• Preparation of forward projections, annual budgets and forecasts
• Preparation of 5 year business plans and reserves analysis
• Monitoring the financial performance of grants
Key Relationships
The Business Analyst is a customer facing role and the post-holder will need to build relationships and meet regularly with a number of Group Leaders and budget holders. The purpose of this is to support the Group Leaders in managing the financial resources available to them, whether this be through specific grant or general core funding.
