As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment where children can develop socially, emotionally and academically. You will deliver engaging lessons through a play-based curriculum, helping pupils to develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning. Whether you are an experienced Reception Teacher or an enthusiastic ECT, the school can offer excellent support and professional development opportunities.

The Role:

• Teaching a Reception class within the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Planning and delivering engaging, creative and inspiring lessons
• Supporting children's social, emotional and academic development
• Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress against EYFS objectives
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants, parents and carers
• Promoting high expectations and positive behaviour
• Contributing to the wider life of the school

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within EYFS or Early Years
• A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• A creative and child-centred approach to teaching
• A commitment to ensuring every child achieves their potential
