Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking Bank Band 5 Community Nurses to join services across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. We welcome applications from Registered General Nurses (RGN) and Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) who have completed their preceptorship and are keen to develop their skills in a supportive community setting. As a Bank Community Nurse, you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient-centred care in patients' homes and community settings. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will support people with a range of physical and mental health needs, promoting independence, recovery, and wellbeing through high-quality care. Delivered through over 100 settings from inpatient wards to out in the community, our 6,500 staff serve over 1 million people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. - Current NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
- Successful completion of an NMC preceptorship programme.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Access to a vehicle insured for business use.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong assessment, care planning and clinical decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and respond to changing patient needs.
- Commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based care.
- Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, equality, and diversity.
- Flexible approach to working patterns and service needs.
- Experience in community nursing, mental health community services or integrated teams.
