Warehouse Operative / Order Picker - Cambuslang
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Order Picker - Cambuslang to join our well-established client based in Cambuslang .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, immediate starts, and flexible shift patterns within a busy and fast-paced warehouse environment.
This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, Order Picker, Picker Packer, Warehouse Assistant, Parcel Sorter, Loader, or within other fast-paced warehouse and distribution environments.
Shifts
Alternative shifts available including:
- Day Shift - starts from 06:00 - Back Shift - starts between 14:00 - 16:00 - Night Shift - starts between 22:00 - 04:00
Shift availability may vary depending on client requirements.
Rates of Pay
- £12.79 to £14.12 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Warehouse Operative / Order Picker, your duties will include:
- Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently - Packing goods ready for dispatch - Loading and unloading deliveries - Manual handling stock throughout the warehouse - Working towards productivity targets within a fast-paced environment - Scanning stock using handheld devices - Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards - Supporting with additional warehouse duties where required
Essential Skills
As a Warehouse Operative / Order Picker, you will need:
- Previous warehouse experience - Previous order picking experience is advantageous - To be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties - Ability to work within a busy warehouse environment - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Reliable and hardworking attitude - Own transport is advantageous due to shift start times and client location
Training Provided
- Full on-site training provided - Ongoing support from warehouse supervisors and People Solutions team
