Specialist Learning Support Assistant

We are looking for a caring, resilient and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist resource base within a welcoming primary school in North Bristol. This is a full-time contract, offering the opportunity to become a consistent and important part of the children's school experience. The Role Working within the Resource Base, you will support pupils with additional needs through a combination of 1:1 support, small-group activities and personalised learning. You will work closely with teaching and support staff to: Build positive, trusting relationships with pupilsSupport children's communication, emotional regulation and social developmentEncourage independence, confidence and positive learning behavioursAdapt activities to meet individual needsSupport pupils to access learning and participate in wider school lifeProvide a calm, consistent and nurturing approachCelebrate progress and achievements, however big or small The school places a strong emphasis on creating an inclusive community where every child feels a genuine sense of belonging.
