Responsible To:

Senior Housekeeping Team / Assistant Head Housekeeper

Purpose of the Role

To support the housekeeping team in delivering a  five-star standard of cleanliness and presentation , ensuring all guest rooms and public areas exceed expectations and contribute to memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Quality

• Prepare guest bedrooms and public areas to Forbes 5★ standard
• Deliver turndown service to a +1 standard
• Support guest laundry services to a high-quality standard
• Respond to guest requests promptly, with a genuine sense of interest
• Report maintenance issues or quality concerns

Team Support

• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive and productive environment
• Support colleagues during busy periods
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining team areas and accommodation

Productivity & Organisation

• Restock cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ensure rooms are cleaned within allocated timeframes
• Report and follow up on faulty equipment
• Follow SOPs and suggest improvements where appropriate

Health & Safety

• Comply fully with health & safety procedures
• Follow “see it, sort it, fix it” approach to risks and hazards

Sustainability

• Work in line with the company’s sustainability and environmental standards
