Location: Rochester (Kent). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-4 days per week.

Role description
You’ll work with the team making recommendations about electronic product content for avionics systems, optimise hardware and software design concepts, and develop sophisticated design processes and test complex products. Gaining exposure to the entire project lifecycle, you’ll play a key role in both maintaining our existing systems and developing new technologies. By having a working understanding of Lab equipment and a basic understanding of the engineering lifecycle, you will be able to show proactiveness in asking questions and show case novel solutions to problems.
Core duties
- Have basic/working knowledge of Hardware design tools
- Conducting laboratory tests and capturing data
- Assessment of equipment behaviour and fault diagnosis
- Assessment of new technologies and components
- Circuit / firmware design, simulation and modelling
- Data analysis and preparation of technical reports

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to be on track to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects: Electronics Engineering, Electronics in combination with Electrical/Computing/Physics/Communication or other Electronics Engineering related subject
