Job Description
- Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with its goals.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory financial reporting requirements.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the company's assets.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions.
- Monitor and improve financial performance across the business.
- Oversee a major systems implementation project
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Director should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong experience of making robust decisions based on data
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
